Perhaps the best media statement ever

  2. I don't know how anybody can NOT love Marshawn Lynch. Even his non- and one-word-answers are way better than anything Russell Wilson ever says.

I'm always partial to Mark Bavaro's statement:

"It's Picture Day, so I had my picture taken and then I left."

I think it's all pretty stupid. Buck up, be a professional and talk to the media for 10-15 minutes. The way he handles these things are childish.

So is the media whining about it. Do your job without him.

    Oh, I completely agree.

Just the same if the NFL wanted a series media event they would limit credentials and not sell tickets. Doesn't mean
that Lynch would act any different but his current act is appropriate for the circus that the NFL created.

    bigpern23 and cranberry like this.
  8. Russell Wilson says nothing substantial either yet nobody criticizes him for cliche after cliche. I don't get it.

I'm talking about his behavior the whole season, not just for this week.

You would rather have the canned answers that you get from most ? Lynch is a one of a kind. More entertaining in 7 words than
    Tom Brady is in 100's

I don't really care either way. Pro sports interviews have become pretty unnecessary lately, but I also don't think Lynch's act is entertaining. If I were an athlete and wanted to fuck with the media, I would do it in a much more creative and nuanced way, rather than just repeating one phrase over and over.
