If they had any balls, they'd void his contract and force him to sue to get the next three years paid.

He'd win or they'd settle, but it would be fun to watch the MLBPA scrounging to get every last nickel to that piece of garbage.

That would be the dumbest thing ever. It wouldn't even be fun. It would take like five seconds for a court to throw that out.

  3. He took his punishment (even with flimsy evidence). Let him play. This attitude isn't going to make him re-sign with you when the contract expires if he plays well.

Why, he signed a contract, served his time and is owed that money.
What would be fun about this?

  6. Exactly. And what they've pretty much assured themselves is that A-Rod won't re-sign with them after his three years are up. So, congrats Yanks. Even if he has three 40-homer seasons in a row, you're screwed.

Yep. Won't be long before people are responding to him as if he's a real poster.

    Booooo. :)

Actually, I'm not even sure Manky started off this clearly over the top. That was the funny part about him. I've actually met Derek Jeter fans who would say some of the crap Manky came up with and they were serious.
