His body language and movement, and arm, remind me of Randall Cunningham.

 

Yes - Cunningham or poor-man's Cam Newton or Terrell Pryor in an offensive system ideally suited for him.

 

I thought yesterday was the best college football day in maybe 20+ years.

I'll be curious if the success of the four-team playoff makes them go to eight teams anytime soon.

 

I would use the analogy of martini's and woman's breasts- 2 is just right 3 is too many.
In case of College Football playoff 4 is just right, 8 is too many.

 

The debate between four and eight is a tough one. I sort of feel that with eight teams, there'd be no legitimate gripe that a deserving team was left out. It would also give undeserving teams a shot at the national title. This season, I would argue that TCU and Baylor deserved a shot, but Michigan State and Mississippi State did not.

Maybe too few is better than too many.

Agree. Baylor / Michigan St was a nice little bonus - an amouz-bouche
to the big meal that followed.

A fine example of the adage that you don't want to show up an opponent.
Coaches are made fun of when their teams are way up and they are still
being hardasses. Now you see why. Having that 400 lb guard score
a TD woke up the sleeping giant. It was just rubbing it in at that point.

 

If Ohio State wins, the Buckeyes will have beaten the 3 Heisman finalists in consecutive games.

I like Oregon on paper, but Ohio State should have a huge edge in terms of coaching. That's not a knock on Helfrich necessarily, but Urban is just that good.

Right now, I'd go Oregon 47, Ohio State 37.

Should be a fun game regardless.

 

I went from Auburn-Wisconsin to the end of the Baylor-Michigan State to the ones that mattered. Just a fucking awesome day of football. It was the way I remember New Years Day being when I was a kid.

 

Me too. I was always sad when The Orange Bowl ended. Meant my holiday was over and time to go to bed and wake up for school the next day.
Now it's not over yet. Love it
