No word yet on what fraternity they belonged to:

You had to be pleased to see they identified the race of the Ford Taurus.

The girl's school reported her missing? Why weren't her parents or guardians reporting her missing?

    Haha. Good line.

Would probably be a much bigger story if the Taurus had been white.

Good thing none of them look like Dante DeBlasio. Any chance the 'community' will rally around the victim?

Whether it's UVA, fraternities, the Ferguson, Mo., PD, of NYPD, people rally against institutions and around victims harmed by institutions, particularly institutions either in a position of power or that they feel the general population has a misguided positive opinion about. They don't rally against bands of random, common thugs and the victims harmed by them. There's no point, really.

I'm not sure we know enough about this group of seven men, aged 18-43, to say they are a band of random, common thugs.

What is their commonality? Are they all members of the same gang, or some other group?

Do they have a history of violent, or-anti social activity? Have they previously been on the radar of the community or the police?
