Hard to defend putting two kids in the trunk.

I'm willing to bet that the two in the trunk wanted to be included in the trip even if it meant riding in the trunk more than they wanted to be left out.

Anybody remember the UVa frat accident where they packed over 60 people into a U-Haul to go visit Randolph Macon Women's College back in 1982?

Killed two. This caused rental agencies to set a 25 age limit.

Well, sure. But sometimes you have to save kids from their stupidity. Not sure she should be fired, but this was a dumb thing to do.

And we once crammed 9 teenagers into a Nissan Sentra hatchback for a 90-plus-minute drive to Disney World. But there were no teachers involved. Just dumb teenagers. Might not have been smart, but it WAS fun. Til my sister's boyfriend got kicked out of the park for trying to steal her a stuffed toy from the gift shop. :)
